Little People Big World

I LOVE this show! The family is so endearing. The parents are strong and run a
successful farm business, as well as a charity business. They are prospering in this
BIG world and are so proud of it. They make you look at your life, anything you may
have complained or felt bad about suddenly does
n’t seem worth it. The kids are
inspiring as well, especially the little person Zach. He recently went through leg
surgery where the doctors basically broke his little leg in 2 places in order to get it a
little straighter to make his life and soccer playing more comfortable. This kid has
courage and grace! A true gem of a human being.

Top Chef Chicago is off to a great start! Check it out on
Bravo.

Of course
SURVIVOR is still my all time favorite and I’m looking forward to the All
Stars v the Fans.  I also watch the Amazing Race.

I indulge in the
Real Housewives of OC and am looking forward to the NY
version. I liked OC because I lived there and am familiar with the spots, but I think I’ll
like NY to see the city and the sites! Oh and to watch the women self destruct! Ha ha
ha.

I watch when I can catch them,
Hell’s Kitchen and Ramsey’s Kitchen
Nightmares
. Ramsey Rocks! I am a hug fan of Top Chef and Project
Runway
on Bravo. Back in the day I may have tried out for P.R.

You can see I’m a reality show junkie.  I tried out (in person this year) for the
Next
Food Network Star
. It was fun, but they didn’t call me. I was in the company of Los
Angeles professional chefs, food makers, caterers and restaurateurs. It was a
empowering experience. People tell me and G that we should be on the Amazing Race
and in the early Survivor days, I was always getting told by friends and gym members
to try out.  I think I would be voted out first for my lack of tolerance!

In the non-reality genre, I LOVE
LOST!! I can’t wait for Thursday! It has been such a
long wait!!  It is a good, quality, suspenseful, sexy, well shot, intelligently written
program. If you haven’t caught the lost bug yet, you can
still catch up. Now that the
writers strike is over we should have a complete season. It's going to move to 10 so
we'll for sure be watching it on the DVR, that little thing has changed my life!! I love it!

I also like Friday Night Lights and am so glad it’s actually on Friday now. I used to
miss it all the time because I think it was on Tuesday and that just made no sense to
me. It is filmed like a reality show which is probably why I like it. The whole Texas
obsession with high school football is fascinating to me.

I’m also a
football fan and am looking forward to the Super Bowl, I told you Brady
would be there! Wink wink.  I’ll be fixing baked popcorn shrimp with chili lime sauce
and chips with smoked salmon and yogurt dip! Mmmm mmm should be a good
“game”!!  I am NOT hosting a pool this year, but we are in one. So go….. numbers!

Biggest Loser is fun and motivating to watch! I love seeing how HAPPY the people
get when they start losing weight. The transformations are amazing and very inspiring.
It's getting close to the end and I'm pulling for Britany, she is so cute! She's done and
incredible job.

Amazing Race is truly amazing! Gavin and I get told that we should go on it all the
time! I just couldn't leave my animals! We would kick butt though! Gavin would be
perfect as he is so cool under pressure and has a real clear thinking planning type of
head. He would trail blaze for us. I enjoy watching the relationships either crumble or
get stronger throughout the race. Last season there was a father daughter who were
just great. She told him he was too hard and had too high expectations and by the end
of the show they were like best friends. Same thing with a grandson and grandfather,
the grandson carried his grandpa's bags and never complained or laughed when he
could have been looked at as embarrassing.

Prison Break is a show I started watching from the beginning and the only reason
I probably keep watching is because of Wentworth Miller! Such a cutie pie. The show
is violent and not really my usual "cup of tea", but I have to keep watching it because I
got hooked. They made it out of one prison and now there in a worse prison in
Panama and are locked up with some of the guys that were guarding them in the U.S.,
it's a pretty interesting and tangled story. I'm hooked!
