Liborio Market
This place is so cute, they have a mascot out front that I swear used to be Bob Big Boy! Shop at Liborio
for great deals on produce and they carry QUINOA! Ralphs does not.
Papa Cristos
Chris is a true gem of a man! Always warm, friendly and donning a smile you can see coming across
the room. He fixes authentic Greek food and you get to watch it being prepared if you like. I love the
eggplant, dolmas and of course the Greek Salad! His pita bread is warm soft and perfect. The family
style dining room is classic and the market is a must stop on the way out! Don't forget some olives from
behind the deli!
Angelique Cafe
The best omelet I've had downtown yet! Super fluffy egg whites with herbs, tomatoes and garlic. They
have a nice selection and a great patio. Can't wait to go back. We are going to try and make it a Saturday
morning tradition. See you there!
Pitfire Pizza
Best pizza. They have amazing salads too and it's really fresh and clean. Check out Pitfire Pizza!

We love to get juice from the juice bar. Raw lunches and snacks from the deli and fresh organic
produce from the produce department.
Trader Joes
Hopefully they'll put one in downtown L.A.! That would be the best! I've already contacted them with my
thoughts! In the meantime we'll enjoy the one on Hyperion in SilverLake. It's a really easy TJ's to shop.
Whole Foods
Awesome Full Service Market including organic wines and beers. Awesome Full Salad bar, Sushi Bar,
Sandwich and Pizza Bar, etc.... It doesn't get any better than Whole Foods!
Wild Oats
Wild Oats has a very "Organic Feel".... soft lighting, nice music, friendly staff always around to help.
Excellent SUSHI!! Salad Bar mmmm! Eco friendly cleaning products, etc. Weekly specials, good prices,
even buy one get one deals! Check it out!

My favorites: Mama Mia Pizza, Fake Chicken Breasts!, Chili, Fries! BOOGIE BAR!!! Temphe "tuna" salad!

Good Mood Food - This is from my HB days and we could walk!!
Must Try: Mushroom Carpacio (not on the menu, but ask for it... thinly sliced mushrooms arranged in a
single layer on plate and drizzled with an amazing pesto sauce!), Mock Potato Salad, All the desserts are
amazing! Nut Burger and Ursala's House Salad... WOW!!! Don't forget a Kombucha to go. Ursala and the
entire staff at GMF are so friendly, helpful and special.

Bolsa Chica Wetlands
Living in HB this was a huge part of our life. We lived right on part of the estuary and saw all kinds of
crazy birds and I even have pictures of coyotes from my balcony and bedroom window. It was like living
on a park.
Wild Flower Viewing
Dogs Beach, Huntington Beach - Bridget misses her beach! We are still members and return at least
once a month.

This little dog has changed our outlook on life. She is an amazing and insightful creature with as much
attitude as head! She is only fed fresh mostly organic chicken and vegetagles that I fix for her.
