When I don't have the motivation I need or I don't feel like getting in the water, that is exactly when I DO GET IN THE WATER! Instantly your mood can be changed... your attitude adjusted, your day improved, and best of all a SMILE ON YOUR FACE! I can hear Margo going, "Smile!" as I'm struggling to stand up!! It does help! If it's not surfing or being in the water, going to the gym or for a run, then find out what IT is for YOU and go do it! JUMP IN! Don't let fear or intimidation hold you back!
