I was at the gym from 6:30-7:30 this morning.  I'll be back again tomorrow.

Today at the gym:
STEPMILL for 30 minutes!
TREADMILL for 15 minutes!
2 sets of 10 PULL UPS
1 HOT LONG sauna with good stretching
SHAN-YO for 30 minutes at home

Get OUTSIDE with your open mind....it is a gorgeous day.

My Meditation Mantra for today (this site is just for fun for me! It is positive and

I am a little stiff and enjoyed a hot bubble bath this morning.
Then I was able to do some Shan-Yo poses. I'm meditating with my yoga practice
this week.  It is giving me a different kind of strength.

I'm also eating super clean and alive foods this week!  I am rejuvenating!

It is good to mix up your workouts and try something totally different.
Go take a kick boxing class!
Go take a YOGA or Pilates class!  You will be pleasantly surprised.
Get a partner and have fun!
Go for a walk on the boardwalk.  We live in an amazing location with a TON of
outdoor activities at our fingertips! or toe tips! : )
Get out there it is a gorgeous day.

I'm going to try a home meditation routine this week, stay tuned.

My legs were sore pretty much all weekend from my leg routine on Thursday.

I did go to the gym on SUNDAY morning.  
Warmed up and loosened up in the HOT sauna for 10 minutes.
Then I did a 20 minute step mill routine followed by 15 minutes on the step
climber then home for some good Shan-Yo.

I was at the gym this morning from 6:15am - 7:00.  
Warmed up and loosened up in the HOT sauna for 10 minutes.
Then I did a LEG routine... Inner and Outer (adductor and abductor), 3 sets each,
12 reps each set, 50-60 lbs.

ONE set of 15 leg presses with 75 lbs.

3 sets of LEG EXTENSIONS 50, 60, 60lbs. (I think!!), 12 reps each.
Another Hot Sauna with good stretches.

I was at the gym this morning from 6:30am- 7:45. After catching up with Mo at the
gym I.....  
Warmed up and loosened up in the HOT sauna for 10 minutes.
Then hit the STEPmill for 20 minutes.  AWESOME-

2 sets of 10 dips-HARD!! and....
Another Hot Sauna with good stretches.  Then.....
More Shan-Yo -like yesterday!!- at home.  All geared up for another exciting day!

I STEP MILL'ED for 30 minutes and stretched it out more in another hot sauna!
GREAT!!

SATURDAY: I Finally got to wear my NEW PINK Top!  I really LOVE under armour
stuff!!  Just step milled and did push ups and dips.

SUNDAY: a little step mill and shan yo! with company!! YEAH!

TODAY: Finally Friday 4/15:  This was a long one....! For all the latest don't

NO gym this morning....Did my Shan-yo at home with Bandit!
THURSDAY I rode my bike HARD for about 8 miles total.  Up hills! Through Trees!
It was fun!  OH yeah, and avoiding drivers!! I think riding my bike will make me a
better driver!
I rode 2.5 miles, rested for 20 minutes, rode 3 miles, rested for 15 and rode 2
more.

I WILL be in the gym tomorrow in my NEW PINK Top! FINALLY!  See you there!

Was AT THE gym this morning.......  Well.... I got ready for the gym, but didn't make
it!!! I felt a little funky this morning and just layed down for a few minutes, fell
back to sleep and am feeling a little better.  Decided to take it easy.  I'm going to
take a bath with Bandit!! He was glad I stayed home, so he could bite my feet!!  
AND do my Shan-Yo.  That will make me feel better.

your skin glow!  Sweat out toxins...it's a good thing!

I did the Step mill for 30 minutes....80+ floors.
Another hot sauna with Good Stretching.
More stretching/shan-yo at home with Bandit!

And More Good company at the gym... We're all in this together.  I'll be wearing
my new pink Under Armour top on Saturday!

Worked out this morning from: 7:30ish - 8:30ish.  My skin is starting to glow again!

What I did at they GYM today:  Gorgeous HOT LONG sauna...8 minute Super Hot
warm up!  It feels so fantastic to be "hugged" by the warm air when you walk in
the sauna!

Today I did the Step mill for 30 minutes.
Followed by 15 minutes lunge walk on the
treadmill.  Good Stretching and even
more at home with help.
Good company at the gym... We're all in this together.

Another day of great company fun yesterday....Can I be so lucky again today!!!??!

warm up!  It's not the spa, but it works!
Step mill for 20 minutes. 45 floors, followed by 15 minutes lunge walk on the
treadmill.  Good Stretching and even more at home with help.

warm up!
Step mill for 30 minutes.  Went fast today!

Followed by
TRICEPS two sets of overhead raises with 12 lbs (15 reps) and kick
backs
with 5 lbs. 12 reps each).
Then 2 sets of rope push downs with 20 and 30 lbs, 12 reps each.

Another 10 minutes in the sauna with some yoga poses and more at home, 20
minute Shan-Yo/Stretching session.

BURNING!!
Treadmill for 20 minutes. Walked 1 mile.  then hit the  Step Mill for 20 minutes,
approx. 70 floors.
Ran home and did my
"Shan-Yo"! for about 20 minutes.  Feeling good, strong and
healthy.  So hard to get back after that SICKNESS!!

GREEN Day: THURSDAY 3/17:Don't miss my  BLOG!!
Worked out from: 6:15 - 6:45 - GET READY FOR AN AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DAY!
What I did at they GYM today:  Needed to get some fresh air this morning...
Spent my workout time outside this morning.  Good Change, but I missed
everyone.  Had a nice
walk/run/walk down my street! It was fun.... Besides being
cold at first, I felt a little "exposed" being right there on the street.  It was cool
though to see all the beautiful flowers, lemon trees and palm trees.  Not to
mention the Gorgeous BLUE SKY!! I'm going to have to do that more often.  Give
the great outdoors a try.  The park would be PERFECT!  My New Balance are
being so good to me.

I did a total of approx. 2.5 miles.  Just judging by my pace and the length of time I
was gone.  Good Stretching at home, 30 minutes
"Shan-Yo" style.

Day: Wednesday 3/16: Lots of good energy at the gym this morning.
Worked out from: 4:30-5:15 - YES am!! : )
What I did at they GYM today:  
Hot Sauna Warm Up for 8 minutes with a few stretches.

STEP MILL for 20 Minutes, 70 floors, 1.5miles.

TRICEP DAY!  3 exercies;
(1.)  3 sets of overhead raises with 10, 12 and 15 lbs. 12 reps each.
Alternated with (2.)  3 sets of Kick Backs, 8, 10 and 10 lbs, 12 reps each.
(3.) 3 sets of Rope pull downs with 20, 30 and 30 lbs. 12 reps each.  WEAK!!!
Good Stretching at home and 30 minutes of
"Shan-Yo"
HAVE A FIT DAY!!  
Day: Tuesday 3/15: Feeling Good again FINALLY!  

Worked out from: 4:30-5:15 - YES am!! : ) Got some good rest and woke up ready
to go!  I've been a morning person ever since having to get up for swim practice
in high school.
What I did at they GYM today:
Hot Sauna Warm Up for 8 minutes with a few stretches.
20 Minutes/1 mile + on the treadmill.
10 Close grip pull ups.
Good Stretch.
30 minutes of
"Shan-Yo" from 5:50-6:20.  Did 4 Sun Salutations on each side and
some floor work.  Felt good and got a lot of things aligned!  More YOGA pictures

My friend used to be the buyer for the shop that is in the studio!  Go THERE! It is
A GORGEOUS Place!
I lost some strength while I was sick!!  I am still going to reach my GOAL OF 30
PUSH UPS (real!!!) IN A ROW BY 3/30!

Day: MONDAY 3/14
Worked out from: 6:10-6:50 Felt Good to be home! Thanks everybody!
What I did at they GYM today:  While in San Diego I did 2 mellow, yet effective,
work outs - Saturday was a Long outdoor WALK...Nice change in scenery.
Sunday was a treadmill in the hotel fitness center and some balance and
medicine ball work.  HOT Sauna, AND Steam with lots of good stretching.

TODAY:
NICE LONG HOT sauna  - did 5 bench step-ups on each leg and a few
quick stretches while I was in there... Super HOT.
Hit the TREADMILL for 20 minutes.  Hit up a set of 10 dips and 10 pullups and
ANOTHER HOT SAUNA...Lots of detoxing is necessary after the weekend!
Remember as we start a new week TOGETHER - No junk food!! Do you want to
feel like junk!??? DON'T EAT JUNK!  In order to "FEEL Real", You MUST EAT
REAL!
HAVE A FIT DAY!!  Use your good start toyour advantage today...It's a good week!

DAY 1 Shan's LEG Routine #1:
EXERCISE #1: Adductor/Abductor alternate between the 2 machines. 3 sets each, 12
reps each; 50. 60, 70 lbs.

EXERCISE #2: Leg Extension Machine: 3 sets, 12 reps each; 40, 50, 60 lbs.

EXERCISE #3:  Leg Press Machine; 3 sets, 12 reps each; 25, 35, 45 (on each side)

EXERCISE #4:  Smith Machine Lunges; 3 sets, 10-12 reps each; 25, 35, 45 lbs. (on
each side).  
STRETCH, STRETCH, STRETCH!!
Day 2 Shan's CHEST Routine #1:
EXERCISE #1: Decline Bench Press: 3 sets; 12, 12, 10 reps ; Only Bar, 5lbs., 10lbs.
(on each side).  I'll get stronger!!

EXERCISE #2: Fly Machine: 3 sets, 12 reps each; 20,25,25 lbs.

EXERCISE #3:  Incline Press Machine; 3 sets, 12 reps each; 35, 50, 55lbs.
STRETCH, STRETCH, STRETCH!!  Downward Dog is a great CHEST STRETCH!
Day 3 Shan's ARMS/TRICEPS Routine #1:
EXERCISE #1: Rope Tricep Extension: 3 sets; 20, 30, 20 12 reps each (the set with
30 lbs was HARD!!)

EXERCISE #2:
Tricep Overhead Raises: 3 sets with a 10 lb. weight using both arms,
as in the picture, alternated with 3 sets of one arm at a time using 5lbs, 12 reps

EXERCISE #1: Lat Pull Down Machine with the wide grip bar: 3 sets; 50, 60, 60lbs.,
15-12 reps each.

EXERCISE #2: Row Machine: 3 sets all at 50 lbs., alternated between 3 sets of Back
Extension Machine for the lower back, 50,60,60lbs, 15-12reps each. Total of 2
exercises.

EXERCISE #4:  Iso Row with Toni 30lbs 3 sets, 12 reps each. Thanks!

Day 5 Shan's LEG Routine #2:

EXERCISE #1: Lunges on the Smith Machine: 3 sets; 10, 20, 25lbs. (on each side), 12
reps each.

EXERCISE #2: Squats on the Smith Machine: 3 sets; 25, 35, 45lbs. (on each side), 12
reps each.

EXERCISE #4:  
Dead Lifts; 3 sets; Bar Alone, 10, 10lbs. (on each side).
STRETCH STRETCH STRETCH!!
Day 6 Shan's ARM/TRICEP Routine #2:

EXERCISE #1: Individual Bicep Curls: 3 sets; 10 lbs., 12 reps each.

EXERCISE #2: Rope Tricep Extension: 3 sets; 20, 30, 30 12 reps each (Feeling like
I'm getting stronger on the 30lb sets)

EXERCISE #2: Tricep Overhead Raises: 3 sets with a 15 lb. weight using both arms,
as in the picture.
