I love doing push-ups, dips, pull-ups and am
working on my wide grip pull ups!  HARD!!!
An original Valley girl, dude!  Born in Mission Hills in 1969.  I am proud
of my age... I worked hard to be here today!  I was raised in beautiful
Ventura, in sunny southern  California.  We would love to return to
Ventura one day, but we really are enjoying Orange County for now.  I
come from a loving 2 parent household.  My parents divorced when I
was 25ish.... It was (And still is!) tragic and I CAN NOT imagine going
through that as a child!
My Dad is a photographer and was taking pictures of my
mom,  my sister and I from day 1.  My mom also took good
shots, because there are a lot of my dad with us! He shot in
black and white and on slide.  I have a TON of slides that I
would love to get transferred so that I can use them here.
MORE TO COME......
I think I was supposed to be Twins...probably sounds weird.    I am an all natural
California Girl and Super PROUD OF IT!  I have been active since early in my
youth...... My parents basically raised me to be an athlete....I love being outdoors
and at THE BEACH!! I LOVE THE BEACH! My parents  tell me (and everyone they
meet!) that I was "swimming before I was walking."  Could throwing me in the pool
at 8 months have anything to do with that?!?  Sink or Swim - The original
survivor... Besides SWIMMING, I ran TRACK and played the DRUMS (Hey,
Drummers ARE Athletes!!).  My mom stayed at home with my sister and I, drove us
to practice, etc... She cooked all our meals mostly from scratch and would invent
things like "Mexican Lasagne" (Sounds good!) and packed all our lunches!  We
even made tortillas together.  She juiced carrots and I remember my dad adding
WHEAT GERM to everything... this is the early 70's.... Eating home cooked meals
from an early age gave me a respect for food and my body.  Both my parents were
athletes, my mom was a professional Under Water Swimmer.  She worked at a
hotel that had an underground viewing restaurant and would entertain diners.  My
dad was always either at the gym or playing racket ball or tennis outdoors.  We
went to the beach in Ventura as a family.  My sister and I played and swam in the
water.  We didn't surf as kids, but now I like to paddle out when the water and air
conditions are "So Shan".
